Father's Day Countdown: Cinema's 10 Moistest Dads - #2

Here at Wordcream Industries, we believe there is only one perfect Father's Day gift, and giving anything else should get you disowned immediately.

That gift, of course, is our signature Moist Dad Squad T-Shirt, currently 10% off until Father's Day with discount code MOISTDAD.

To honor the occasion, we're counting down the 10 Moistest Dads in Cinema History every day until then. You can see previous entries here:

#10   #9   #8   #7   #6   #5   #4   #3

#2 - King Triton

As seen in: The Little Mermaid, The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, The Little Mermaid: Ariel's beginning.

What makes him moist: He is just literally surrounded by moisture here. I don't even think he's ever seen an air bubble in his life that would break the continuity of his continual, lifelong moistness. Certainly not in the still image shown above.

What makes them A Dad: His daughter Ariel, whose moistness he strictly enforces, to the point that she has to seek magical solutions when she feels like getting dry.

Why he falls short of being the Moistest Dad: Triton here, and tomorrow's #1 entry are similarly moist for similar reasons, making this a really tough choice. It was nearly a toss-up. The deciding factor here is basically the same as the difference in prestige between the Oscars for Moistest Dad in a Leading Role and Moistest Dad in a Supporting Role. Triton is the latter, and no disrespect is intended. We may reevaluate when the new live action Little Mermaid film comes out.

Keep following this space to see where the countdown ends up, and comment below to tell us your favorite moist dad movies! #2 tomorrow!
